【教材分析】

The Street Party丽声北极星分级绘本第三级上中的一本故事类读物,介绍了人们举行街上派对所发生的事情。主要通过讲述Albert一家积极参加街上派对,每个人都为派对做了很多准备,大家都沉浸在一片喜悦中。但当桌上摆放的食物越来越多时只有Albert发现用木板与盒子搭建的摆放食物的桌子即将坍塌,他机智地用自己的椅子背顶住了桌子,但是Rosie看到Albert没有椅子坐,为他搬来椅子导致摆放食物的桌子坍塌。

【教学目标】

1. 熟练掌握文中出现的各种食物及饮料的单词,并进一步明确There be句型的单复数形式使用。

2. 能借助图文和音频理解故事的剧情发展,并学会阅读时使用标记符号和思维导图进行梳理。

3. 能将自己代入故事,体验人与人之间互相帮助互相关爱的情感。

4. 感受文化的魅力,并能通过小组合作选取家乡文化特色之一进行展示计划的绘写与汇报。

【教学重难点】

1. 能够通过疑问词,快速地定位文本信息,能够借助思维导图这样的阅读策略来梳理信息。

2. 能够理解绘本所表达的深刻主题,体验人与人之间互相帮助互相关爱的情感。

3. 感受文化的魅力,并能通过小组合作选取家乡文化特色之一进行展示计划的绘写与汇报。

【教学过程】

Step 1. Pre-reading

1. Brain storm

Ss write down more questions what they want to know about the picture book.

2. Warm up

Ss enjoy the song “Party Time Song”.

3. Let’s say

T: What’s the song about?

Ss learn the word: a party

T asks the question “Do you like going to parties?” to bring out the cover of the picture book “The Street Party”.

Step 2. While-reading

1. Read the cover

T: Where are theySs learn the word: street

2. Guess and say

4. Let’s read
